Washington (USA), 13 January (LaPresse) – The US State Department has announced that US citizens should leave Iran immediately and, ‘if possible safely, consider leaving the country by land, heading towards Armenia or Turkey’. The US virtual embassy for Iran also recommends that US citizens ‘plan alternative means of communication’ due to ‘ongoing internet disruptions’ and ‘have an evacuation plan that does not depend on US government assistance’.
