Seoul (South Korea), 27 January (LaPresse/AP) – South Korea says North Korea has launched an unidentified projectile into the sea. The projectile was launched from North Korea's east coast towards the Sea of Japan, according to the South Korean Defence Ministry. The ministry did not provide further details, such as whether the projectile was a missile or an artillery weapon. According to the Japanese government, it was a ballistic missile.
