Washington (USA), 18 February (LaPresse) – JD Vance reported in an interview with Fox News that he had spoken with envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner about the negotiations with Iran. ‘The president has all options on the table,’ said the US vice president, reporting that the negotiations ‘in some ways went well’ and the parties agreed to meet again. But, he added, ‘In other ways, it was very clear that the president set some limits that the Iranians are not willing to recognise and overcome,’ he added. ‘We will continue to work on it,’ he continued, ‘but, of course, the president reserves the right to say when he believes diplomacy has reached its natural end. We hope it doesn't come to that, but if it does, it will be the president who decides.’
