Milan, 20 February (LaPresse) – The UK government will consider introducing legislation to remove Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor from the line of succession. This is according to British broadcaster Sky News, which reports that such a move would only come once police investigations into former Prince Andrew have been concluded. Any change to the line of succession will require consultation and agreement with other Commonwealth realms. Calls to remove Andrew, brother of King Charles III, from the line of succession intensified after his arrest yesterday by Thames Valley Police. He is eighth in line to the throne, after Prince William and his three children, and Prince Harry and his two children.
