Milan, Mar. 7 (LaPresse) – "We have once again reviewed the situation with all the ambassadors and consuls from areas directly or indirectly affected by the ongoing crisis. Our primary concern has always been the return of our fellow citizens to Italy. Over 20,000 people have already been repatriated since the start of the crisis," said Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani at a press briefing at the Farnesina. "We continue to proceed with as many flights as possible that can be organized or, where airports are reopened, by placing our fellow citizens on departing flights," he added, noting that "the situation has slightly improved regarding the pressure on our fellow citizens."
