Iran: IDF strikes weapons factories in Tehran and missile depots in central Iran

Turin, 20 Mar. (LaPresse) – In two waves of air strikes carried out overnight and this morning in Tehran and central Iran, the Israeli Air Force has bombed dozens of Iranian military sites. This has been reported by the Israel Defence Forces. In Tehran, the IDF claims to have struck several weapons factories, as well as sites used to develop components for ballistic missiles. East of Tehran, the Israeli Air Force struck installations where ballistic missiles were stored, whilst Iranian soldiers were engaged in operations on the ground, according to the military. The IDF states that it has observed in recent days that Iran is launching ballistic missiles at Israel from the centre of the country, after the army ‘weakened most of the regime’s capabilities to launch missiles from western Iran’.
