Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei: ‘The security of our enemies must be undermined’

Rome, 20 March (LaPresse/AP) – Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, in his latest public message, has called for the “security” of Iran’s enemies to be stripped away. Khamenei made these remarks in a press release addressed to President Masoud Pezeshkian, following the killing of Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib by Israel. Khamenei has not been seen since he was appointed Supreme Leader, succeeding his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, 86, who was killed in an Israeli air raid on the first day of the war, 28 February. According to American and Israeli officials, Mojtaba Khamenei was reportedly wounded during the war.
