Iran, Israeli media: ‘US and Tehran are working on an initial agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz’

Turin, 23 March (LaPresse) – Intensive talks are currently taking place between Washington and Tehran, both directly and through the mediation of Qatar and Turkey, with the aim of reaching an agreement. This is reported by Ynet, citing Israeli officials, according to whom a possible framework for an agreement currently under discussion would see Iran allowing the Strait of Hormuz to be reopened in an initial phase, with the United States refraining from attacking Iranian power stations. A broader ceasefire, they explain, would be pursued in a second phase.
