UK: Ambulances set alight in London’s Jewish community: “An anti-Semitic act”

Turin, 23 March (LaPresse) – Four ambulances belonging to the Jewish community’s emergency service have been set on fire in Golders Green, a neighbourhood in north-west London. The police have confirmed that the incident is being treated as an ‘anti-Semitic hate crime’. This is according to The Guardian. Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were dispatched to the scene of the fire. Several gas cylinders on the vehicles exploded, shattering the windows of a nearby residential building. No injuries have been reported.
