Milan, Mar. 25 (LaPresse) – Israel fears that the United States may declare a one‑month ceasefire to facilitate negotiations with Iran. Two Israeli sources told CNN that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to discuss the latest developments with his security cabinet scheduled for this evening. Before that meeting, Netanyahu will hold a smaller consultation with his top security officials. According to the sources, Netanyahu has been informed and updated on the 15‑point proposal recently presented by the United States to Iran with the goal of ending the conflict. Israel, they added, remains skeptical about the possibility of a definitive agreement at this time. "The most Iran might be willing to concede does not meet the minimum demanded by the United States," the sources said, adding that Israel considers several elements of the U.S. framework "positive and favorable for Israel," particularly those related to Iran's nuclear program and the activities of its regional proxies.
