Iran, Netanyahu: "We will expand the security zone in Lebanon"

Jerusalem, Mar. 25 (LaPresse) – The Israel Defense Forces have eliminated the threat of a hostile ground invasion in the north of the country and created a "real buffer zone" in Lebanon that prevents such an invasion. This was stated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a meeting with authorities in northern Israel at the border with Lebanon. Haaretz reports it. "We are expanding this security strip to eliminate the threat of anti‑tank fire on our communities and to create a wider buffer zone," Netanyahu added.
