Iran, Araghchi: ‘Any provocative action by the UN will complicate the situation’

Milan, 3 April (LaPresse) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has warned against any “provocative action”, including within the United Nations Security Council, ahead of tomorrow’s vote on a draft resolution which, if adopted, would authorise UN member states to use “defensive measures” to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. “Any provocative action by the aggressors and their supporters, including within the UN Security Council, regarding the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, will only serve to complicate matters,” Araghchi said. This was reported by Al Jazeera.
