Milan, 6 Apr. (LaPresse/AP) – The entire Middle East will be left ‘in darkness’ if Donald Trump follows through on his threat to bomb Iranian power stations. This is the warning from an Iranian adviser, former Foreign Minister and adviser to the Supreme Leader Ali Akbar Velayati, who in a social media post urged Arab countries to dissuade the US president from striking Iranian power stations. ‘The leaders of Arab countries should, to prevent the region from plunging into darkness, make it clear to Trump that the Persian Gulf is not a place to gamble,’ he wrote on social media.
