Iran, Beirut authorities: ‘Over 1,500 deaths in Lebanon since the start of the war’

Beirut (Lebanon), 7 April (LaPresse) – The death toll in Lebanon stands at 1,530 following the outbreak of war after Hezbollah fired rockets into northern Israel on 2 March in a show of solidarity with Iran. This is according to the Ministry of Health in Beirut. Among the 1,530 victims are 102 women and 130 children, as well as 57 child paramedics. More than 4,800 people have been injured. The number of Hezbollah militants killed remains unclear. Over a million people have been displaced.
