Turin, 10 April (LaPresse) – “We are looking forward to the negotiations. I think it will be a positive development.” This was stated by US Vice-President JD Vance before boarding Air Force Two bound for Islamabad, Pakistan, where he will take part in talks with the Iranian delegation. “As the President said, if the Iranians are willing to negotiate in good faith, we are certainly ready to extend a hand. If, on the other hand, they try to play games with us, they will find that the negotiating team will not be so accommodating,” added the US Vice President. Vance stated that Trump had provided the negotiating team, which also includes Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, with “clear guidelines” on the negotiations, without, however, going into detail. “We will try to conduct positive negotiations. The President has given us fairly clear instructions, and we will see how it goes,” he concluded.
