Europe is the largest donor and the main funder of the Palestinian Authority.” This was stated by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Kaja Kallas, at a press briefing following the meeting of the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution. “European missions on the ground support the Palestinian police, the judiciary, governance and border management; you will not find a stronger supporter of the Palestinian people anywhere else in the world. Today, the Ad Hoc Liaison Committee will focus on the next steps to be taken to support Gaza and the West Bank,” she added.
