Rome, 20 May (LaPresse) – The Trump administration has secured the indictment of former Cuban President Raúl Castro. The case against the 94-year-old brother of Fidel Castro contains charges relating to the shooting down, in 1996, of two civilian aircraft belonging to the Cuban-American exile organisation ‘Brothers to the Rescue’. Raúl Castro, who was defence minister at the time, is alleged to have ordered the attack, in which four people lost their lives, including three American citizens.
