Israel: Police say only one person responsible for attack in Kochav Ya'ir

Milan, June 7 (LaPresse) – Only one terrorist, and not two, is believed to have carried out the shooting attack in Kochav Ya'ir, in central Israel. This is the position of the Israeli Police, which differs from the information previously released by the Israeli military (IDF). The report was carried by The Times of Israel. “Contrary to what the military stated,” the newspaper reported on its website, “the police say that a single terrorist carried out the shooting attack in the Kochav Ya'ir area. Following a manhunt, police located and killed the terrorist, a resident of the nearby Arab city of Tayibe. Officers also recovered the weapon used in the attack, an improvised ‘Carlo’ submachine gun, also known as a Carl Gustav.”
