Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this, commenting on the joint statement signed yesterday in London by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, expressing support for a direct dialogue between Russia and Ukraine. "The Kremlin's reaction had already been expressed before this statement was even made," Peskov added, "it was expressed by the president on Friday during a discussion at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum."
