Milan, June 23 (LaPresse) – The art world is in mourning. "Arnaldo Pomodoro passed away last night, Sunday, June 22, in Milan at the age of 99 in his home." This was announced in a long statement by the Foundation that bears his name.
"With the passing of Arnaldo Pomodoro, the art world loses one of its most authoritative, clear-sighted, and visionary voices. The Master leaves an immense legacy, not only for the strength of his work, recognized internationally, but also for the coherence and intensity of his thought, capable of looking to the future with tireless creative energy," the statement reads.
