Rome, 10 March (LaPresse) – The drop in prices on the fuel network continues, with the national average for self-service petrol falling below 1.8 euros per litre for the first time since 10 January, and the national average for self-service diesel also falling to 1.7 euros per litre, according to a Quotidiano Energia processing of data communicated by operators to the Mimit price monitoring centre updated at 8am on 9 March. In particular, the national average price of self-service petrol is 1.798 euro/litre (1.807 on 6 March), while the average price of self-service diesel is 1.703 euro/litre (compared to 1.714). As for self-service, the average price for petrol is 1.940 euro/litre (1.950 the value on 6 March), for diesel 1.846 euro/litre. Finally, the average prices charged for LPG are between 0.747 and 0.762 euro/litre (no logo 0.734), for natural gas cars range from 1.518 to 1.590 euro/kg (no logo 1.531).
