Rome, 24 Mar. (LaPresse) – ‘I use debt and the need to finance it, practically every two weeks, because it represents a constraint, the main one. First of all, we need to think about what to do with this debt to manage’. This was said by the Minister of Economy, Giancarlo Giorgetti, at the debate ‘Governing Europe and Italy in the age of Donald Trump’, organised by the Institute for European Analysis and Policy of Luiss University, emphasising that debt is ‘the main constraint’ and ‘comes before even the rules defined at EU level’.
