Milan, April 10 (LaPresse) – Piazza Affari closed sharply higher today, boosted by the 90-day suspension of U.S. tariffs announced yesterday by President Donald Trump, following recent market tensions. The Ftse Mib ended the trading day up 4.73% at 34,277 points, with no stocks closing in the red. Leading the gains in the banking sector, which had been particularly affected by the recent turmoil, was Unicredit, surging 8.36%. Banco BPM also performed strongly, gaining 7.58%. The telecom giant's shares rallied after a report by Exane BNP Paribas raised the company’s rating from 'Neutral' to 'Outperform', increasing the price target from €0.28 to €0.35 per share.
