Washington (USA), April 22 (LaPresse/AP) – According to its latest World Economic Outlook, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has stated that the global economy will grow by only 2.8% this year, down from the 3.3% forecast in January. For 2026, global growth is projected at 3%, also lower than the previous estimate of 3.3%. The IMF highlights that the outlook for the global economy has significantly worsened, amid uncertainty stemming from President Donald Trump's tariffs.
