Rome, April 28 (LaPresse) – "Pope Francis has paid great attention to labor issues. One of his messages was to give a voice to those who don’t have one, to make noise, and not give up on fighting inequalities. May 1 is also an opportunity to strongly emphasize the need for actions that place the person at the center," said CGIL Secretary Maurizio Landini at the press conference presenting the Concertone.
"We are facing an ongoing tragedy," he continued. "Talking about safe work means putting the person at the center, working with dignity. Talking about this means talking about the future, about change. Technology is not neutral; it depends on who uses it and for what purposes."
