Milan, June 3 (LaPresse) – Annual inflation in the Eurozone is estimated at 1.9% in May 2025, down from 2.2% in April. This is according to a flash estimate from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. Looking at the main components of inflation in the Euro area, estimates show that food, alcohol, and tobacco prices will have the highest annual growth rate in May (3.3%, compared to 3.0% in April), followed by services (3.2%, down from 4.0% in April), non-energy industrial goods (0.6%, stable compared to April), and energy (-3.6%, stable compared to April).
