Rome, 9 November (LaPresse) – ‘Once we tried to remedy the situation, not for the rich but for those who earn reasonable amounts, we were slaughtered by those who have the power to slaughter. But that's not a problem, because we believe we are right.’ This was stated by the Minister of Economy, Giancarlo Giorgetti, in an interview with Città impresa – Festival dei territori industriali, responding to criticism of the manoeuvre for the rich. ‘It's easy to judge others, but making decisions and balancing the books when we have armed conflicts, trade wars and instability of all kinds is a little more complicated,’ he pointed out.
