Milan, 31 December (LaPresse) – ‘We were bottom of the class, now we are among the top: the second largest manufacturing industry in Europe, the fourth largest trading power in the world. This is the result of the stability and seriousness of the government's actions: without time to plan actions, you get nowhere’. This is what Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani told Il Messaggero. ‘I am satisfied with the manoeuvre carried out within the economic and financial limits that are clear to everyone,’ said the minister in the interview. "But above all, we are out of the European infringement procedure, and this gives Italy credibility. As Forza Italia, we are particularly satisfied with some measures. Support for the middle class, with the reduction of income tax from 35% to 33% up to €50,000; support for businesses with hyper-amortisation; we have defended the first home by excluding it from the ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) and by limiting the increase in taxation for short-term rentals."
