Milan, Feb. 11 (LaPresse) – In 2025, net of calendar effects, industrial production in Italy recorded a 0.2% decline. This was reported by Istat, noting that among the main industrial groupings, only energy posted an overall increase in 2025. Within manufacturing, the pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as the manufacture of computers and electronic products, recorded the strongest growth compared with the previous year, while the sharpest declines were seen in textiles, clothing, leather and accessories, and in the manufacture of transport equipment.
