Milan, 10 April (LaPresse) – Any energy-saving measures, ranging from remote working to reduced speed limits on motorways, prompted by limited fuel supplies, “are implemented when there is a shortage of fuel. We are not currently facing a shortage. I am confident regarding gas supplies and timing, whilst as far as oil is concerned, there may be disruptions due to certain blockages.” So said Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, Minister for the Environment and Energy Security, speaking on ‘24 Mattino’ on Radio 24. “But I would like to point out that just a week ago we released 10 million barrels of oil in solidarity, which is about 12% of our total stock. Measures of this kind are taken when there is a shortage,” added the minister.
