Turin, 14 May (LaPresse) – Boomdabash and Loredana Bertè are back with ‘Una stupida scusa’, their new single out on all digital platforms and on the radio from Friday 16 May via EMI Records Italy (Universal Music Italia). One of the most popular bands on the contemporary scene and the queen of Italian music are back together in a song with an exquisitely reggae flavour that goes against the grain of classic summer singles. This is the Salento band's second collaboration with Loredana after the success of their previous single ‘Non ti dico no’, which went double platinum and became the most played song on the radio in 2018. ‘This track marks Boomdabash's return to the reggae sounds that have always characterised us. I like to describe this single as a lover's hit that tells the story of love between opposites, of differences that come together and merge into a single entity. It is almost pervaded by melancholy and catapults the listener from a beach scorched by the August sun to a summer night where the moon is reflected on the mirror of the sea. When it comes to the moon and reggae, there could be no better travelling companion than Loredana, with whom we are collaborating for the second time,’ says Biggie, the singer of the Salento-based group.
