Rome, 22 May (LaPresse) – Metallica have announced their return to Italy. The date is set for Wednesday 3 June 2026 at the Stadio Dall'Ara in Bologna for the only date in Italy on the M72 World Tour. The event will also feature Gojira and Knocked Loose as opening acts. After recording staggering numbers in 2023-2024, with four million spectators worldwide, Metallica's world tour is preparing to return to Europe in 2026 with 16 new dates, including the Italian date in Bologna. During the event, the band will perform some of their classic songs, along with tracks from ‘72 Seasons’, their latest album released in April 2023.
