London (United Kingdom), 20 June (LaPresse/AP) – Grammy-winning singer Chris Brown has pleaded not guilty at Southwark Crown Court to a charge of attempted manslaughter. The incident dates back to 2023: according to the prosecution, Brown and a fellow musician, Omololu Akinlolu, assaulted producer Abe Diaw at a bar in a London nightclub in the upmarket Mayfair district. Brown allegedly struck the man several times with a bottle before kicking and punching him. According to the prosecution, the attack was captured on CCTV footage outside the venue. The 36-year-old rapper was released last month on £5 million bail, allowing him to begin his world tour this month.
