Turin, 22 July (LaPresse) – "Mr Sala has essentially acquitted himself with the complacency of the majority of the “press”. Media trials are not held for friends. Case closed, curtain down." This is the story with which Fedez attacks Milan Mayor Giuseppe Sala, who is under investigation in the latest inquiry by the Public Prosecutor's Office on urban planning, on social media. In the image, the mayor is depicted as the magician Silvan with a top hat, magic wand and white gloves, above the words “Sim Sala Bim”.In the story, Fedez also refers to the profile of Pulp Podcast, the podcast by Fedez and Mr. Marra, where a message for Sala was posted: 'You are the mayor of the city of Mani Pulite, an investigation that revealed the modus operandi of an entire political class based on corruption. And what do you do? To demonstrate your innocence in the events and investigations that have marked the last few weeks in the Milanese capital, you decide to use the expression: “I have clean hands”. Really? – it reads – I mean, no one on the mayor's team thought of, I don't know, “I have a clear conscience”? You had to go and clean your hands… Freud would have a lot to say. And to analyse'. And again: “The left spoke of political 'opportunity” when, on occasions such as this, resignation could have been the classic “step back” to allow the judiciary to do its job. But those were different times, and now the only opportunity to consider is the election: if Sala resigned, would the left have a candidate to put forward? No, and that explains why today they are all a little more protective of their rights than before."Mayor Sala has decided to shelve that sleight of hand called “Save Milan”, which only a few months ago he was so eager to have quickly approved by Parliament, the post continues. And to think that we all wanted to hear the reasons behind that decree that the mayor himself considered vital, and which is now being quietly swept under the carpet.
