Rome, August 4 (LaPresse) – La vita va così by Riccardo Milani is the opening film of the twentieth edition of the Rome Film Fest, which will take place from October 15 to 26, 2025, at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone. This was announced by the president of the Cinema Foundation for Rome, Salvatore Nastasi, upon the proposal of the Artistic Director, Paola Malanga. The film will be presented out of competition in the Grand Public section. Milani has directed feature films such as Piano, solo, La guerra degli Antò, Il posto dell'anima, Come un gatto in tangenziale, Come un gatto in tangenziale – Ritorno a Coccia di Morto, Corro da te, Grazie ragazzi, Un mondo a parte, and documentaries like Nel nostro cielo un rombo di tuono and Io, noi e Gaber. La vita va così is a story spanning twenty years, set in Sardinia, where a community finds itself caught between the dream of work and the defense of the territory and its identity. The film is inspired by a story that made international headlines.
