Rome, 28 August (LaPresse) – For most of the summer, Richard Ashcroft thrilled crowds with choruses of classics such as “Bitter Sweet Symphony” and “The Drugs Don't Work” as a special guest on Oasis' stadium tour. The impact of the former Verve singer was such that his upcoming headlining tour in the United Kingdom quickly expanded with several new dates added due to huge demand for tickets. All this sets the stage for “Mad Dog Richard”, who is ready to make his mark with the release of his new album “Lovin” You', out on 10 October and distributed by Virgin Music Group, preceded by the title track, chosen as the new single, available from Thursday 28 August. The song reprises the historic guitar riff from “Classical Gas”, Mason Williams' Grammy-winning track from 1968. Williams himself said he was thrilled after hearing the new “Lovin” You'.
