Venice, 6 September (LaPresse) – Toni Servillo won the Volpi Cup for Best Actor for his role in Paolo Sorrentino's film La Grazia at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival. ‘I would like to give special thanks to Paolo Sorrentino. I know you're going to laugh, but this President of the Republic is your creation. I tried to serve you to the best of my ability,’ said the actor from Campania, visibly moved. ‘I didn't expect to win,’ added Servillo, who then kissed Brazilian actress Fernanda Torres.
