Milan, Sept. 7 (LaPresse) – "It was necessary to be here because I believe he was an excellence of our Lombardy, a genius who brought Italian beauty to the world, but also a great entrepreneur because he managed to create a company that works, is efficient, and has delivered excellent results. So he knew how to combine creativity and genius with the efficiency and effectiveness typical of a great Lombard."
This is what the President of the Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontana, said upon entering the mourning chamber of Giorgio Armani at the Armani Theatre.
Asked if the Region will remember the designer, the governor replied: "We will definitely remember him now, of course, these are decisions we will make together with the Council as soon as work resumes, and we will discuss it with the President."
When asked if he already had an idea, he added: "We will certainly dedicate a day to remember him, to give everyone the opportunity to express their thoughts, ideas, and memories."
