I've done five, this is my fifth, I think that's a good number. In my opinion, for now, I'm ending my Sanremo adventure with this edition. However, as I said to my illustrious fellow citizen, whom you probably know well, Lorenzo De Medici, there is no certainty about tomorrow, so you always have to be cautious with these things, you never know." So said Carlo Conti, artistic director of the Sanremo Festival, on “Non stop news” on RTL 102.5. ‘For now, I'm calm, serene, I can't wait,’ he explained. "Last year was a year, as you teach me, that was musically sensational. I believe that out of 30 songs, you too have put 28 on your playlist, so it was very satisfying. I hope that this year too, and I am convinced, many of the songs that will be at the festival will then be played on the radio and become part of all of us, which is the most important thing about the festival. I think Madonna's presence is quite impossible."
