Rome, Mar. 7 (LaPresse) – Italy secured a historic victory by defeating England for the first time in its history. On the penultimate matchday of the Six Nations, the Azzurri beat the Masters of rugby 23-18 at the Stadio Olimpico. From the first match in 1991 until today, England had won all the official test matches (30) played against Italy.
