Rome, 14 May (LaPresse) The Under-21 national team has advanced to the round of 16 of the European Championship, currently underway in Slovakia. The Azzurri, coached by Carmine Nunziata, defeated the hosts 1-0 with a goal in the 7th minute of the first half by Torino's Cesare Casadei. After their opening victory against Romania, the national team secured their place in the final phase thanks to Spain's victory over Romania. The match against Spain will take place on Tuesday 17 June.
