Rome, Jan. 27 (LaPresse) – "Today’s Anpi is no longer the Anpi of the past. There are unfortunately very few partisans left from those who fought. I am the son of a decorated partisan, and I too held an Anpi membership card." These were the words of Rome’s Chief Rabbi, Riccardo Di Segni, on the sidelines of a Holocaust Memorial Day ceremony in Rome’s Jewish Ghetto.
"Anpi is a galaxy of realities," he said. "Some Anpi leaders have forgotten their institutional purposes and are fighting battles they don’t understand, which contradict their institutional objectives, and this creates a problem."
