Milan, February 15 (LaPresse) – The Municipality of Milan and Marsilio Arte present one of the most extensive and comprehensive retrospectives dedicated to Felice Casorati (Novara, 1883 – Turin, 1963), an extraordinary Italian artist returning to Milan’s Palazzo Reale from February 15 to June 29, 2025, 35 years after his last exhibition in 1990.

Promoted by Comune di Milano-Cultura and produced by Palazzo Reale and Marsilio Arte in collaboration with the Archivio Casorati, the exhibition is curated by Giorgina Bertolino, Fernando Mazzocca, and Francesco Poli, leading scholars of Casorati’s work.

"After 35 years, Milan once again celebrates the originality of Felice Casorati with a major retrospective at Palazzo Reale, featuring numerous masterpieces that were also exhibited at the 1952 Venice Biennale," said Tommaso Sacchi, Milan’s Cultural Affairs Councilor. "This exhibition offers the opportunity to rediscover a unique, independent, and multifaceted artist, who first approached art through music and later worked as a sculptor, set designer, and costume designer for opera theater. It is a fascinating journey that invites the public to immerse themselves in the art of a master who traversed genres and techniques with unparalleled sensitivity and expressive depth."
