Rome, 23 Mar (LaPresse) An unscheduled visit by Pope Francis before returning to his Santa Marta residence in the Vatican after the end of his stay at the Gemelli Hospital. A few metres from the Perugino Gate the Pontiff's white car stopped and from the open door Francis greeted Mrs Stefania, who lives right in front of the Vatican entrance, on the way: ‘How did I see him? Poor guy, I saw him very tried. But he didn't want to greet me, for goodness sake,' she said a little embarrassed to the reporters immediately after the meeting. 'How did I find him? Very tried. But we had already seen that on television. What did we say to each other? Nothing. I just told him: welcome back. It was exciting. We are so happy he's back. Now we are all praying for him to recover,' she concludes.
