Rome, 28th March (LaPresse) – ‘It is a very simple decree consisting of a single article that intervenes on the law ratifying the Albania protocol and not on the content of the protocol, and it does so by making it possible to use the already existing structure in the centre of Gjader for people who can be transferred from Italy and not only for those who were transferred as a result of rescue operations at sea. This will allow us to immediately reactivate the centre, which will not lose its functions, it will not be distorted, but its availability will be increased’. This was said by the Minister of the Interior, Matteo Piantedosi, at a press conference at Palazzo Chigi at the end of the Council of Ministers.
