Milan, 29 Mar. (LaPresse) – The current moment ‘is a tsunami of emotions, let's call it that. I hope we can get to the truth, to justice, for Chiara above all, for her family, for everyone. It is something I care a lot about, but let's say that, more than anything else, I am waiting for developments'. This was said by Alberto Stasi in an interview to be aired on Sunday exclusively on Iene on Italia 1. Stasi, sentenced to 16 years for the murder of girlfriend Chiara Poggi in Garlasco, in the province of Pavia, lives with ‘confident expectation’ the turning point in the case with the new investigation into Andrea Sempio. ‘What I have in my heart is that the truth will come out, that everything that needs to emerge, that has not yet emerged, will come to light. Nothing else,' he says in the interview, recalling that “in a few months I might even be home for good; therefore, it is not these few months that make a difference to me, I have deeper motivations, in short, it would be much more important for me, for my family and for Chiara, to find the truth”.
