Milan, March 30 (LaPresse) – The search is still ongoing for three people missing under the rubble of a building that exploded in Villanterio, in the Pavia area. Four people in total were involved in the explosion, with one already extracted from the rubble and handed over to medical personnel. According to initial reports, the explosion, which involved a two-story house, was caused by a gas leak. Several teams from the Pavia and Lodi Fire Departments have responded to the scene and are working to secure the area and carry out rescue operations. Specialized USAR (Urban Search and Rescue) units and K9 teams have also been deployed to assist in the search for any other people involved.
