Trento, March 30 (LaPresse) – Ten people were caught in an avalanche that detached at approximately 3,500 meters near the Mantova refuge on Mount Vioz, in Val di Peio, on the Trentino side of the Cevedale-Ortles group. Two of them, a 50-year-old woman from Veneto and a 53-year-old man from Trentino, are in serious condition, particularly the woman, who is in critical condition at Santa Chiara Hospital in Trento. The man has been given a 30-day prognosis and is also hospitalized in the capital’s medical facility. The avalanche took several groups of ski mountaineers by surprise.
