Milan, 3 Apr. (LaPresse) – Alberto Stasi's defence team made 7 “attempts” to “overturn the sentence” for the Garlasco murder, all of which failed. This is how the lawyers of the Poggi family, Gian Luigi Tizzoni and Francesco Compagna, put it in the brief sent to the judge in Pavia to ask to be able to ‘access the trial documents’ and ‘formulate any appropriate request for integration’ during the maxi genetic consultation on Andrea Sempio's DNA that will be held as part of the probative incident. The defence lawyers for the Poggi family point out that, against Stasi's conviction, there has already been an extraordinary appeal to the Court of Cassation, two attempts to review the trial (one of which with an appeal to the Court of Cassation) and an appeal to the European Court of Human Rights.
