Rome, 2 May (LaPresse) – ‘I would say that even these alleged developments only denote a systematic leak of information with respect to the activities of the investigators that objectively worries. But also that, should these alleged developments have any basis in Sempio's alibi, they would not in the least affect the established responsibility of Stasi, who, as clearly stated in the judgments, not only does not have an alibi, but has 7 serious elements against him. This was said by Gian Luigi Tizzoni, lawyer of Chiara Poggi's family. ‘I hope that all the citizens of Garlasco and the surrounding areas do not have to worry about finding an alibi,’ Tizzoni observes, ’after 18 years. Moreover, as every jurist should know, a missing alibi in the absence of serious further clues would not even constitute grounds for suspicion'.
